Alan revealed the horrible diagnosis in 2021; according to the Mayo Clinic website, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a group of inherited disorders, leads to nerve damage primarily in the arms and legs.

It is also known as hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy. This condition causes smaller and weaker muscles, along with loss of sensation, muscle contractions, and difficulty walking.

He wasn’t sure at the time how long he would still be able to sing and play concerts but he wanted to try. He launched his “Last Call: One More For The Road” tour in 2022 .

Alan Plans To Give The Best Performances He Can

Jackson’s expedition for the 2024-2025 season will feature 10 arenas across Florida, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and more, and Alan Jackson himself guarantees to perform all of his fans’ favorite hits.

According to Jackson, his shows are a guarantee that fans will hear the songs that have defined his career and that they love. Lately he has been enjoying more time at home now, after touring for over 30 years and with grown daughters and a grandchild on the way.
