According to the Bash on the Bay website revelers can expect two nights of fun with mega super stars.
“Blake Shelton is a multi-award-winning entertainer, including 20 Academy of Country Music awards, Video of Year winner at the 2018 Country Music Television awards, and Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year. Shelton is scheduled to headline Wednesday night’s lineup. Keith Urban was named Entertainer of the Year by both the Country Music Association in 2018 and the Academy of Country Music in 2019 and is slated to host the ACM Awards for the second consecutive year on April 18, 2021. Urban is scheduled to headline Thursday night’s event and wrap up the two-day festival.”
Event organizer, Tim Niese said, “These are going to be the hottest tickets of the year. To get just one of these two performers to headline the event would have been great. Both is almost unheard of. This will help make this year’s Bash on the Bay the biggest and most successful Bash ever.”
Big Names Take The Stage In Put-in-Bay
Bash on the Bay takes place Wednesday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Aug. 26, at Put-in-Bay. Blake Shelton’s current single “God’s Country” is his 26th No. 1 on country radio, his 16th No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and the fastest country single in the past year to reach one million track equivalents.
He is a member of the Grand Ole Opry as well as a coach for the Emmy Award-winning television show The Voice where he is a six-time champion, most recently with contestant Chloe Kohanski. Blake is also engaged to singer Gwen Stefani.
Keith Urban Is A Country Music Megastar
Keith Urban has won four Grammy’s, fifteen ACMs, three AMAs, and two People’s Choice Awards. His latest studio album, The Speed of Now Part 1, produced the Top 5 hit “God Whispered Your Name.”
In addition Urban, who is also Mr. Nicole Kidman, has the charity “All For The Hall” which has raised over $4.2 million. He is an Ambassador of the CMA Foundation, an advisory board member at the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and he has been a longtime supporter of The Mr. Holland’s Opus Fund and The Grammy Foundation.
