Apart from getting to see popular and upcoming Christian acts, it also doubles up as a Mental Health and Wellness event for young people who will be mentored on the important subject of overcoming bullying, not just for themselves but for other people who are experiencing it, and stand up for the value of every person.
Lifest Concert Details
The inspirational event will take place this year at the former home of Johnny Cash in Hideaway Farm, Bon Aqua, Tennessee.
Lifest Oshkosh, happening this year at Music City, is expected to draw people from over 20 states in the U.S. and even across Canada.
According to John Dougherty, the people’s response to the upcoming festival has been overwhelming: “We knew this would be a great boost for the area,” Dougherty commented, “but we didn’t anticipate the number of people that would come from as far away as Canada or Washington State. We are hoping this will be a great boost to all the service businesses in the Middle Tennessee area that have suffered greatly during the lockdowns.”
The festival will mark Hideaway Farm’s first music festival and will benefit Dignity Revolution, a movement that works to combat bullying in young people.
“We are very excited to host this experience in middle Tennessee,” said the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Life Promotions, Bob Lenz. “Lifest is a party with a purpose. The music is just a vehicle to bring inspiration and hope to people from all walks of life.”
Camping is available for the duration of the festival, along with food vendors, marketplace shops, and activities for children.
From now until the first day of June, tickets for the 3-day event are on sale for adults at $66 and $33 for children aged 8-15 years (cost for all three days of the festivals).
Children 7 and under require no tickets for entrance. Every ticket sold contains a $3 service fee, so none will be collected at the event.
Other details about camping rates, group ticket purchase discounts and others can be found at the festival’s official website.
