Good news for Shania Twain fans! Shania will be returning to Las Vegas some time in December 2021; adding 14 new dates to her “Let’s Go!” residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The shows will run from December 2 to 12, 2021, and February 11 to 26, 2022, including a special Valentine’s Day performance.
This good news came after Shania Twain took a year off due to the coronavirus pandemic. She previously confirmed that all of her planned shows in May and June 2020 had been canceled “following CDC recommendations regarding events”.
Shania Twain Confirms her Love for Las Vegas
While she spoke to PEOPLE, Shania said in her words, “I love Vegas. I love it there. I love the food. I love the people. I love the visitors. There are different flags in the audience all the time and it’s fun. Everybody’s there to party and that’s what I’m there to do. So it’s great. And the sound is great. It’s just wonderful. There’s a lot of visual art going on. It’s high energy because I’m hyperactive anyway so I’m everywhere. And then I feed off the audience.”
Around the time Shania’s residency will kick start, country artists Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood will also be launching their own Vegas residencies at The Theater at Resorts World Las Vegas. This automatically means that when Twain is not performing her shows, her fellow country superstars will grace the stage with great music.
Shania Twain said, “Whoever’s in town, we are going to see each other’s shows. I’ve seen more shows in Vegas than anywhere else because we’re all stationary for a little while. We’ve got a few days here. We might have the same day off or whatever. I’m always hanging out with the artists backstage and they’re coming to my show. We have dinner. Yes, that happens. It’s awesome.”
Who is Shania Twain?
Eilleen Regina Edwards, musically known as Shania Twain was born on August 28, 1965. She is a Canadian singer and songwriter who has sold over 100 million records, making her the best-selling female artist in country music history and among the best-selling music artists of all time. She became a sensation in the country music world and garnered her several honorific titles including the “Queen of Country Pop”. Good to know, Billboard named her as the leader of the ’90s country-pop crossover stars.
Spent her early years in Timmins, Ontario, Twain pursued singing and songwriting from a young age before signing with Mercury Nashville Records in the early 1990s. Her self-titled debut studio album in 1993 didn’t see the light of fame because it was a complete failure.
After collaborating with producer and later husband Robert John “Mutt” Lange, Shania Twain rose to fame with her second studio album, The Woman in Me (1995). The second album brought her to the limelight in the music world and she’s been active in the industry since that time.

Dear Shania………..my husband and I have been fans since the very first song we heard of yours played on the radio! We have most of your previous albums/CD’s and even a cassette or two!
We are in South Carolina and will never make it to Vegas but we’ve seen some clips of the shows you did there previously and know this upcoming “residency” is gonna be fabulous.
I, in particular, love your interaction with your horses both on stage, in your videos and in your private life – I am a horse woman and that black and white pinto of yours takes my breath away.
Best of luck to you! Wish we could be in the audience. Break a leg!!
