Is Reba McEntire married? Reba Nell McEntire, better known as just Reba, is an All-American country singer, songwriter, and actress.

Reba started out singing in the Kiowa High School band. From there she went on to sing on local radio shows and at rodeos. She was a sophomore at Southeastern Oklahoma State University when she performed the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City and that led to her big break.

Her performance intrigued country artist Red Steagall and he brought her to Nashville, Tennessee where she signed record contract in 1975. She released her first solo album in 1977 and the rest is history.

Is Reba McEntire Married?

In 1976, McEntire married Charlie Battles, a steer wrestling champion and rancher. The couple lived together on a ranch in Oklahoma until 1987 when the couple divorced and Reba moved to Nashville.

Two years later Reba married her manager and former steel guitar player, Narvel Blackstock. The musical couple married on a boat at Lake Tahoe.

With their music savvy the two formed Starstruck Entertainment and proceeded to manage her career as a team.

Blackstock had three kids, Chassidy, Shawna, and Brandon. Together they have one son, Shelby Steven McEntire Blackstock who was born in 1990.

Who Is Reba McEntire Married To?

On August 3, 2015 Reba announced that she and Blackstock had separated following twenty-six years of marriage. In December 2015 she announced that their divorce was finalized on October 28, 2015.

In 2017, McEntire became involved with photographer Anthony Lasuzzo. During their relationship she stated, “We’re totally in love, absolutely. I wouldn’t put up with somebody for two years if I wasn’t in love with ’em!”  McEntire and Lasuzzo eventually separated in fall 2019.  In 2020 McEntire began dating film and TV actor Rex Linn.

Reba – The Nashville Legend

Reba’s album, My Kind of Country (1984), had a more traditional country sound and had two number one singles: “How Blue” and “Somebody Should Leave.” It was the album that made her a household name, and a string of hit records and number one singles followed in the 1980s and 1990s.

To date Reba McEntire has released 29 studio albums, had 24 number one singles, 16 number one albums, and 28 albums have been certified gold, platinum or multi-platinum in sales by the Recording Industry Association of America.

She has sold more than 75 million records worldwide and it’s no wonder she’s earned the nickname, “The Queen of Country.”  Her acting career includes her own television sitcom Reba (2001–07).  Fun Fact: Reba’s stepson Brandon Blackstock was married to singer Kelly Clarkson.
