Winstock 2020 two-day country music festival was canceled due to the pandemic, but they’re determined to hold this year, only during a much safer time.
Winstock Reschedules its 2021 Concert
It’s been eleven months since event organizers were forced to cancel the Winstock 2020 concert due to the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown restrictions. This year is looking brighter everyday with the vaccines that are rolling out and the number of people getting shot, it’s safe to say that June 18-19 is not a bad time, especially since venues are starting to reopen.
But the event organizers are thinking differently, they want to put on the most fun, and safe event possible, and their math teacher tells them that August is a safer bet than June. Now, the event is set to hold on Friday-Saturday, August 20-21, 2021 instead of the former June 18-19.
“We are focused on having Winstock in 2021, and by gaining over two months, we can work toward a safer event for our fans, artists, volunteers, and our community,” Winstock Country Music Festival Committee Chairman Dave Danielson said. “COVID has hit us hard, and we want to make every effort possible to have a normal Winstock and great celebration for everyone.”
It’s clear that it must have been a hard task for the event organizers to schedule, reschedule and schedule again.
Exciting Line-up of Country Artists
Among the amazing lineup of country artists is the reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Luke Combs, who will headline the Winstock concert on Saturday August 21. Darius Rucker won’t be able to appear in the rescheduled concert so Grammy-nominated and Chart-topper Sam Hunt has been added to the Friday lineup. No complaints there.
Other country artists set to perform are Brett Eldredge, Chris Janson, the musical group Runaway June, Shenandoah, Phil Vassar, Dance With Ya Drew Baldridge, Drew Parker, Lainey Wilson and others.

All existing tickets will be valid for the rescheduled dates in August 2021, and any request for refunds from those that are unable to attend because of the changed dates will be handled on a case by case basis. VIP seats are sold out, but you can still order reserved seats and general admission tickets by calling or online through their website www.winstockfestival.com.
All net proceeds from the two-day event will benefit the education of children at Holy Trinity Schools Winsted.
