Dierks Bentley High Times And Hangovers 2021 – Tickets Available Now
Dierks Bentley, multi-platinum country music artist, has announced a couple of tour dates at dive bars in 2021 starting May 11. His High Times and Hangovers tour was his first headlining tour and was launched back in 2006. These days, he’s decided to take fans back to the glorious days of High Times and Hangovers which debuted 15 years ago, with Cody Canadian and the Departed opening the shows at the time.
High Times and Hangovers 2021 Tour Details
The country artist whose last album The Mountain dropped in 2018 is happy and scared at the same time to hit the road once more after the pandemic and its lockdowns that saw the closure of many venues and the cancellations of a wide range of festivals.
“The idea of being up onstage seems totally frightening right now, as well as, like, super exciting… That’s the way it should always feel, and it definitely feels that way right now, times 10,” Bentley told Taste of Country Nights ahead of the 2021 ACM awards.
As for the reason behind his revisiting the High Times and Hangovers concert, he replied that it’s just for the heck of it. He is even bringing back his old act, Canada and the Departed, to open the concert, in an effort to make it feel as natural as the old days when the tour first took place.
“The Hot Country Knights actually wanted to do the dive bar tour,” Bentley says, nodding to the ’90s country band whose performances resemble that of Bentley and his band. “But they might tag along … They might be out there.”
Dierks Bentley Teases New Songs
Ahead of his 5-city club tour launching May 11 at Windjammer at Isle of Palms, South Carolina, Bentley is looking forward to releasing a couple of new songs that fans can enjoy ahead of the tour.
In an interview, he revealed that he feels the urge to do so, “because selfishly, it’s just a lot of fun to sing new songs and have people sing ’em back to you.”
His new single “Gone” reached the top 20 at the country charts, and is expected to appear in his still to be announced album. The country singer also recently celebrated his 25th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Pre-sale for fan club members will begin April 27 at 10 a.m. local time and general tickets for the short tour will be available starting Friday April 30, 10 a.m. local time at dierks.com
On Sunday April 25, the country singer behind the hit song Every Mile a Memory dropped a short clip featuring moments from his original 2006 tour with the hashtag #Hightimesandhangovers.
