Billy Ray Cyrus and singer Firerose are going their separate ways after only seven months of marriage. TMZ reports that Cyrus filed for an annulment in late May, citing fraud among other reasons.
The couple reportedly separated on May 22nd. Documents obtained by TMZ allege “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct” on Firerose’s part.
While the split appears amicable with no children involved, Cyrus has agreed to provide temporary financial support. He will reportedly pay Firerose $5,000 per month for three months to help her find new housing.
Social media hints suggest the romance may have fizzled for Billy Ray sooner than for Firerose. He has unfollowed her on Instagram and hasn’t mentioned her since April, while Firerose recently celebrated their six-month anniversary in a post.
Less than a year after Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose married in October 2023, the 62-year-old country star filed for divorce from the singer.

The couple wed in a ceremony last October, with Cyrus expressing his joy on social media, calling it “the most perfect…celebration of love.”
Engagement rumors for the pair surfaced in 2022. Though the exact timeline of their relationship remains unclear, they collaborated on songs like “New Day” in 2021 and “Time” more recently.
Cyrus previously spoke openly about finding love with Firerose, calling her a “light of positivity” and a “soulmate.”
