Lee Ann Rimes had a very embarrassing experience happen recently when she was on stage. LeAnn Rimes aims to be genuine with her fans, and she is sharing one of the most embarrassing moments she has faced during one of her live performances.

No Matter What, The Show Must Go On!

Over the weekend, the pop/country star shared a story with her 1.1 million followers on social media. The Mississippi native disclosed that she recently experienced a dental malfunction issue during her performance of the 1996 hit “One Way Ticket.” “We’re going to have a little story time about how the show must go on,” she starts in the video she posted on Instagram.

“And this is the ultimate example of how the show must go on.-so last night, I was performing ‘One Way Ticket.’ I felt something pop in my mouth. If you know me, you’re aware that I’ve had many dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front,” she explained; “It came out while I was singing last night.”

First, She Panicked, Then She Faked It Till She “Maked” It

Rimes mentioned that her initial response was to “panic,” but she quickly managed the situation like a professional, instructing the audience to “hold on.” She explained, “I ran to the side of the stage and put it back in, popped it back in, and then just continued singing.”

Rimes said, “For the rest of the show, I was literally…pushing my teeth in every couple of lines and singing. By the way, I never realized how many F’s, Th’s, and Sh’s I have in my songs;” despite her bridge coming out, Rimes described the moment as “the most epic experience ever.” “I don’t usually have firsts in my career-that was a first,” she laughed, adding that she hopes losing teeth during her performance will also be “a last.”

Rimes Posted Her “Adventure” Only Hours Before Doing Another Show

Rimes shared her story just hours before her performance at the Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom in Bow, Wash. on Sunday (June 22). She remarked, “I hope my teeth stay in tonight-we shall see.” She joked, “The front row, get ready for something to fly out; if you catch them, please return them.”

As I mentioned, there wasn’t a fu**ing thing I could do about it except either walk off or hold my teeth in and sing-so I just went with it. If anyone ever has an embarrassing issue on stage, just watch this video again, and it’ll remind you that the show can go on even in the midst of sheer embarrassment.
