Blake Shelton, you just won our unofficial contest for the Most Loved-Up Country Music Singer Of The Decade!
And credit goes (drumroll, please), to your devoted fianceé , Gwen Stefani. The pop music singer decided not to wait until they tied the knot to honor him on Father’s Day.
But why stop there? Gwen also gave Blake a birthday he’ll remember!
Get all the adorable details below.
Gwen Stefani Shows Blake Shelton Her Love On Birthday
Happy birthday, Blake Shelton!
At 45, the country music singer has enjoyed plenty of birthdays. (Shelton even celebrated some with his former wife Miranda Lambert.)
But Gwen found a way to surprise and delight Blake in a way he never expected.
Stefani shared a video on Instagram of exactly what happened on Blake’s June 18 birthday. We see a youngster holding party balloons, then dashing to a group of guests.
And then “Surprise!”
Shelton gets a birthday hug from the woman who called him her best friend in her Instagram caption.
“celebrating my besties b day today love u @blakeshelton #surprise #fiancé #Gemini #2021 #june18 #favoritecountrysinger,” wrote Gwen.
Wisely, she skipped the close-up of his birthday cake to avoid any critics. (Remember how Carrie Underwood got slammed by her own attempt at celebrating her husband’s birthday with a cake!?)
Gwen Stefani Honors Blake On Father’s Day
Father’s Day gave the 51-year-old songstress another opportunity to celebrate just how much she loves Blake Shelton!
But on the day designed to honor dads, Gwen didn’t limit the love to herself.
As Stefani showed in a series of sweet photos, her three sons love and appreciate Blake just as much.
Scroll through the Instagram pics to see Blake with the boys at different ages. Kingston James McGregor is now 15, Zuma Nesta Rockis 12, and Apollo Bowie Flynn is 7-years-old.
“Happy father’s day to the most generous patient loving funny guy i know – we love u so much @blakeshelton gx,” she wrote.
Blake Shelton Loves Taking On The Role Of Dad
The country music king previously has discussed how much he loves becoming the unofficial father to Apollo, Zuma, and Kingston. (The boys’ biological father is Gwen’s ex husband, Gavin Rossdale).
When Blake and Gwen tie the knot, he will become the youngsters’ stepfather. And Shelton takes the role very seriously.
“Definitely nothing easy” about becoming a stepfather, Blake said in a previous interview.
“I don’t know if it’s as hard or harder or not as hard as being an actual, biological parent, you know?” he said.
In addition, Shelton shared a rare glimpse into his personal life.
“I have a stepfather in my life who’s one of my heroes. I love my stepfather and I look up to him and he’s like a father to me,” revealed Blake.
As a result, Shelton feels he benefits from “a good inspiration in my life for how to do this and the kind of stepdad I want to be. And I take it very serious.”
But the country music singer never stays serious for long!
“But I also have a blast with it, I’m not gonna lie,” admitted Blake. “I don’t take it so serious that I’m not enjoying this time because I really am, especially now that we’re five years into this thing.”
And even before he weds Gwen, Shelton feels he “can’t imagine my life without these kids now.”
