Brad Paisley To Headline Nashville’s July 4 Concert on Lower Broadway

Brad Paisley is hitting the stage!  Nashville’s annual July 4 concert is set to make a dazzling return with Grammy award-winning country music legend Brad Paisley headlining the show.

Paisley was originally announced to headline the concert last year, but due to the pandemic and the lockdowns being implemented at the time, it moved to become a television program with no audience and Paisley’s performance and the fireworks had to wait a while longer.

The free concert to celebrate the American Independence will be the largest concert to take place in Nashville since concerts started to return to the state. More than 200,000 people are expected to attend the celebration – in person.

Nashville To Celebrate This Year’s Fourth of July Bigger than Ever

The concert was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic and will return for the 37th time this year with the city promising the largest fireworks show in Nashville history.

The last time that the concert properly took place was in 2019, and Brett Eldridge headlined the concert to a crowd of more than 340,000 people.

Brad Paisley’s stage will be located at 1st Ave and Broadway, with the Cumberland river in the background.

According to the event organizers, additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks. This will be the first big concert to happen in the city after CMA Music Awards was shelved for the second year in a row along with Rock N’ Roll Marathon originally supposed to take place in April.

Let Freedom Sing & Nashville Symphony

The show, Let Freedom Sing, will see the pyrotechnics synchronized to the live performance by the Nashville Symphony.

The event is expected to be attended by a large crowd of people since everyone over the age of 16 in Nashville has been made eligible for vaccination.

“After the year that Nashville has had, from a tornado to a bombing, Nashvillians deserve something to look forward to coming out of the pandemic,” said Butch Spyridon, President and CEO of the event’s organizing body, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “More than ever, we want to deliver a world-class concert and fireworks show to commemorate July 4th and give back to our community. As well, our visitors have always supported us through challenges, and this is the perfect way to welcome them back and welcome live music back to Music City.”

Brad Paisley Encourages People To Get Vaccinated

The “Letter to Me” singer recently joined a host of other celebrities encouraging fans to get vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.

“This is our ticket back,” Paisley shared on his social media channels, alongside a short video urging fans to get the vaccine so that events and festivals can open safely. “Live events have taken quite the hit, but I’m ready for live concerts again. Do your part, and I’ll see you on the road again this summer.”
