Who is Brantley Gilbert’s wife?  Brantley Keith Gilbert is an American singer and songwriter who has made a name for himself in the country music industry. Born on the 20th of January, 1985, the “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” crooner has been through a painful heartbreak before finding his true love.

Gilbert was officially engaged to a fellow country vocalist at a time, before calling off the relationship, and now has been married to the love of his life for about six years. A Called Off Engagement And Finding New Love

In September 2012, Brantley revealed that he was in a relationship with the actress and country music star, Jana Kramer. The pair had come across each other at the 2012 CMT Awards held in June. They announced their engagement seven months later when Brantley turned 28 years on the 20th of January, 2013. Their engagement was short-lived as they called it in August 2013.

After staying single for about a year, Brantley met Amber Cochran, a high school teacher in his hometown of Jefferson, Georgia. In an interview, while being a guest on the Bobby Bones Show, he revealed that he had met Amber ten years earlier and she is the inspiration behind several of his songs including “More Than Miles” and ” You Don’t Know Her Like I Do”.

He added that he was smitten with her and was grateful that the opportunity to fall in love with her came his way after letting her go for about five years.

Sometime in October of 2014, the “Bottoms Up” singer announced his engagement to Amber with their wedding planned to take place sometime in June 2015, to accommodate Amber’s work schedule as a teacher.

Brantley got married to Amber on the 28th of June, 2015 at his home in Jefferson, with Gilbert’s cousin, one of the prominent Christian founders in the Southeast region, as the officiating minister. His cousin is also known to Amber, as they attend the same church.

In another interview, he said his issues with addiction to drugs and alcohol in his early 20s are what led him to meet his true love, Amber Cochran. He added that with Amber he has been able to stay true to himself always and share all his feelings with her as she loves him with the same passion that he loves her.

According to him, she is the friend and companion he desired all his life, as she stood by him through his rehabilitation program to make their relationship stronger.

Becoming A Family

Sometime in November 2017 while on tour, Brantley revealed to his audience that he was going to be a father. On the 11th of November, 2017, the couple announced the birth of their son, Barrett Hardy-Clay Gilbert, after struggles with conceiving for two years. On the 9th of September, 2019, their second child and daughter, Braylen Hendrix Gilbert, was born.
