Before heading off to his “Blessed & Free” tour, which kicks off on October 1 at Sacramento, the country star will be releasing his highly anticipated single with H.E.R later this week.
The song explores the idea that freedom and the feeling of being blessed are the things we need to appreciate everyday. “As long as I’m alive, I’m free,” the singer sang in a short clip recently released to promote the upcoming single.
Kane Brown to Release New Single Before Embarking on His NBA Arena Tour
The “Worship You” singer, who was named one of Time’s 100 most influential people of 2021, announced on his social media channels that “Blessed & Free” featuring the Grammy award-winning R&B artist H.E.R will be coming out on Thursday, September 30.
“Blessed & Free” will join Brown’s latest release “Mississippi”, which is currently sitting at the top 30 at radio, and is expected to be included in his upcoming album.
This isn’t the first time that Kane Brown has collaborated with artists outside of the country music genre, since his collaborators have included the likes of Khalid, Swae Lee, John Legend and DJ Marshmello.
The new duet will serve as the title track and theme for Brown’s upcoming 35-date concert. The tour will see the musician visit all 29 NBA basketball arenas for the rest of 2021 and early 2022. It will mark the first time ever a country artist headlined every NBA basketball arena on a single tour.
