And so Carrie may have thought her followers would applaud to see the cake she made for husband and Mike Fisher on his birthday. In the caption to the photo, Underwood wrote about her affection for her just-turned 41-year-old husband.
“Celebrating this amazing human and his 41 trips around the sun! I love you @mfisher1212 and I thank God for blessing us so. Here’s to whatever comes next! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!” gushed Carrie.

In response to her Instagram photo of her husband’s birthday cake, Carrie discovered just how rude her followers can seem. Some questioned both the cake and her choice of lighting for her photo.
“What is this dessert?” questioned one of the country music singer’s Instagram critics.
I can’t tell with the dim lighting.”
Ouch. And about ten people agreed with that criticism, with comments such as, “I thought so too.”
Another described the attempt at a cake as “unreal.” But others thought that the cake looked all too real in terms of the creation on top.
“Interesting,” wrote one snarky Instagram follower of Carrie Underwood. “Looks like a snake on the top!!!!”

Several agreed with the snake image. And then there was the person who managed to compliment Underwood’s husband while slamming her cake.

Carrie Underwood’s Husband Mike Fisher Gets Happy Birthday Cheers From Instagram
In contrast to Carrie Underwood, her husband Mike Fisher got only kindness from Instagram on his birthday. Many of the country music singer’s fans wished him happy birthday.
But one still managed to get in a sly slam, questioning the health value of the cake.
“Just laughed out loud,” wrote one of Carrie’s Instagram followers in response to all the cake jokes. “On another note, is that dessert [nutritionist]-approved? If not, looks like Mike Fisher will be following [the diet] path tomorrow.”
As for the health value question, we just might have a theory. As one of Carrie’s Instagram followers wrote, the cake “looks like Tiramisu.”
This type of dessert consists of coffee-soaked ladyfingers layered with a sweet mixture including mascarpone cheese, cocoa, eggs, and sugar. One slice contains more than 600 calories and more than 1.5 times the recommended daily fat gram total at 46 grams of pure fat!
