Country Boom, like many others, was forced to abort last year’s show because of the novel coronavirus. But they’re coming back this summer, and they’ve got an impressive lineup to prove it.
The Country Boom festival, originally founded in 2018, will include performances by artists such as Barefoot Blue Jean Night singer Jake Owen, I Don’t Know About You singer Chris Lane, who, along with Jake Owen, has topped the Billboard country chart with his singles. Other artists that will appear in the festival are 90s hit band Diamond Rio, Travis Denning, Trey Lewis, Angie K and Hailey Whitters.
Country Boom Announces Exciting Lineup and Festival Headliners
This is the first group of performers that were recently revealed, and another badge is expected to follow soon.
Diamond Rio, the Grammy award winning six-person group, will kick off the 3-day festival on Thursday, Jake Owen will open for Friday, and Chris Lane will take Saturday.
“In three out of our first four years, we’ve had unprecedented challenges thrown our way: Rain, pandemic and now post-pandemic. Many established festivals have not survived, but we are continuing to grow and flourish even in a ‘small market,'” the co-founder of the music event, Jon Holthaus, said.
“It’s a testament to our fan’s loyalty and the great experience they have at Country Boom. It’s a testament to our sponsors, our team, our volunteer groups and the community,” he said. “Coming back in this way is both emotional and inspiring to see what a community can do together.”
Country Boom 2021 Tickets Available Now
The event organizers meet and talk frequently with the La Crosse County Health Department and other county officials to figure out the best way to safely relaunch the festival, which has historically attracted around 20,000 country music fans.
It is expected that Jake Owen will draw in many country music fans with his record of successful singles and albums that deeply resonate with country music lovers.
Chris Lane, a rising country music star with chart-topping singles of his own, is beginning to creep into more country music fans’ playlists with every new music.
The Country Boom festival will be held at Maple Grove Venues outside of West Salem on July 8-10. Tickets purchased for last year’s postponed show are still eligible for the 2021 show.
