Dolly Parton ice cream coming soon! Dolly Parton is a busy woman, and she’s proved that apart from being the Coronavirus vaccine funding angel and the Grammy winning badass that she is, she can also make delicious treats.
The country powerhouse that is Dolly Parton also advocated for people to go get their shot in a funny video posted on her socials. She even changed her famous Jolene song to fit the occasion, singing “vaccine” instead. She may have kidded around, but she says she’s dead serious about folks going and getting their shot, so that life can go back to normal, “whatever normal is.”
The best thing about the whole yummy deal is that each pint sold will benefit Parton’s Imagination Library Foundation. This new Dolly Parton approved ice cream flavor will be a limited edition made by Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams.
Specially made for Dolly Parton
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams made an official announcement of the collaboration across their social media pages on March 15, after teasing their collaboration earlier. “Hypothetically speaking, say we had a new collab flavor in the works, what do you hope it is?”
The official announcement of the collaboration was shared by Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams along with a colorful cartoon image of the singer. There is no announcement made about the flavor of the ice cream just yet, but it is “specially made for Dolly Parton.” Isn’t that just about all we need to know?
Sales from the upcoming original flavor will benefit Parton’s Imagination Library, the nonprofit organization she founded in 1995 that provides free books to children from birth until they reach the age of five in order to encourage reading.

The flavor could take up to weeks to be revealed, but if you want to be the first to hear it, there’s nothing stopping you from signing up for notifications at Jenis.com/dolly, or simply following Jeni’s on social media. As they say in country-style, “treats don get any bet’er than charity,” sorry, I have a bad country accent.
The 9 to 5 singer really knows her business, and if it’s a flavor that she collaborated on, then I’m in. Obviously I’m not the only one excited about the news, with fans commenting from, “OMG!” to “Dreams coming true,” and even, “Man you guys have most definitely found your groove. You are about to be the biggest ice cream brand in the world and I’m here for it.”
