The 65-year-old country music star’s boyfriend, Rex Maynard Linn, is probably someone you have seen on your TV screens a couple of times. Rex Maynard Linn was born on the 13th of November, 1956 in Spearman, Texas, the third child of his parents, James and Darlene Linn.
Fans of the crime investigation series, CSI: Miami, will remember Rex Linn starred in the show as the regular character, Sergeant Frank Tripp between 2002 and 2012. He also got a minor role in the miniseries, The Walking Dead: Torn Apart, which streamed on AMC.com on the 3rd of October, 2011.
In her podcast, Reba revealed that she met 64-year-old Rex in January last year, but that they had to build their relationship by texting and chatting on social media as well as through video calls on FaceTime because of the global coronavirus pandemic.
Her relationship with Rex comes after her previous 26-year-old marriage to Narvel Blackstock, and ending her relationship with the renowned photographer, Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo.
According to her, it felt good having a relaxing and fun time just discussing with someone who connects with her in several ways, as she said the Appaloosa actor is a passionate lover of music. Their discussions revolved around their professional lifestyles and exchange titbits about their families and comical stories.
Things You Didn’t Know About Rex Linn
Rex Linn is a graduate of the Oklahoma State University, and was former vice president of the Lakeshore Bank until it was dissolved on the 5th of July, 1982.
Rex is a devoted fan of the University of Texas Longhorns team, as he notably took a day off from the filming set of CSI: Miami, to watch them play in the Rose Bowl National Championship final of 2005, they won against the University of Southern California.
He was former chairman of the Oklahoma division of Ducks Unlimited, winning the Texas duck-calling competition in 1986. He later went on to come fourth at the National Duck-calling competition in the same year.
The Hollywood actor has been a cast member in more than 35 films with notable appearances in the crime comedy film of 1998, Rush Hour, the film by Tarantino about slave trade in 2014, Django Unchained, and in the 1993 film, Cliffhanger. His most recent film appearance where he starred alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, is the 2018 political suspense film, An Acceptable Loss.
Apart from CSI: Miami, Rex has also appeared as recurring characters in other TV series including JAG, Nashville, Better Call Saul, and Young Sheldon.
It is reported by the news media that the Oklahoma-born actor presently resides in Sherman Oaks, California, with his 2 pet dogs dressed in cat suits, Jack and Chocktaw.
