Who is Eric Church’s wife? Grammy-nominated country star Eric Church and his wife Katherine Blasingame have been married for over a decade, but Blasingame has kept a low key profile during their time together. She appears with the country crooner on red carpet appearances and although not a lot is published about her they have an extraordinary family and love story.
Most people may not know that Blasingame was a music industry insider at one time. The one time publisher met Eric Church when she wanted to team him with one of the writers that she represented and they hit it off.
And despite their love of privacy the couple featured their home on CMT Cribs in 2010. Fans discovered that the Church family enjoys being environmentally friendly and grow their own vegetable garden. Church’s awesome man cave was also featured.
Who Is Eric Church’s Wife?
The happy couple have two kids together. Their first son Boone McCoy Church was born in 2011 and their second son, Tennessee “Hawk” Hawkins was born in 2015. Church wrote the song “Three Year Old” about his journey through fatherhood after his first son Boone was born.
Prior to the birth of their two children, the pair were married in North Carolina. Church, who was named Entertainer of the Year at the 2020 CMA Awards, and his wife Katherine were married at Westglow Spa & Resort in Blowing Rock, NC, a beautiful resort in the mountains.

Church did what he does best and wrote his wife a love song just for their wedding ceremony. He surprised Katherine with the ballad “You Make It Look So Easy” which performed on their wedding day. The song was released on his 2009 album, Carolina.
Years later the generous Eric Church and his wife started a non-profit called Chief Cares Fund. It debuted in in 2013 and is designed to help struggling families who live in Tennessee and North Carolina.
Additionally they have supported orphans in Nepal with clothing, bedding, and education and they have sent Bibles to Haiti. Eric Church and Katherine have also funded no-kill animal shelters.

According to Eric Church he often bounces music ideas off of his wife. He told Taste of Country, “There’s a song on this new record called ‘She Loves Me Like Jesus Does’ that was a favorite of hers that I didn’t write. It’s the only song in my career that I cut that I didn’t write, and it’s because of her. She found the song and played it for me and I loved it too.”
