Miranda Lambert Thrills Country Music Fans With Pistol Annies Update On Instagram
Miranda Lambert is giving her country music fans an early Christmas present. And after a year where we all struggled to find hope in the shock of the COVID-19 pandemic, the hope contained in that gift reminds us of the lyrics to Lambert’s song, “Bluebird.”
In that song, Miranda sings:
“And if love keeps giving me lemons
I’ll just mix ’em in my drink
And if the whole wide world stops singing
And all the stars go dark
I’ll keep a light on in my soul
Keep a bluebird in my heart.”
We’ve kept the hope that Pistol Annies, featuring Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley, would return in our own hearts. Now Miranda has given us an exciting update on Instagram!
Miranda Lambert Turns to Instagram to Give Pistol Annies News!
We love the way that country music artists like Miranda Lambert generously support and congratulate their fellow singers. As evidence, check out what Miranda shared on her own Instagram.
“Happy album release day to this angel!” wrote Lambert for the caption of Ashley Monroe’s fifth solo studio album, “Rosegold.”
Miranda praised Ashley for her country music accomplishments, writing, “You always follow your art ❤️ and it’s beautiful. Love you @ashleymonroemusic #hippieannie #ROSEGOLD.”
Monroe responded, thanking Lambert and in the process revealing her nickname, “Thank you ‘Randa Lou!!! ❤️🙌”
The interaction between the two country music singers led Lambert’s Instagram followers to ask, “When are the Annie’s [Pistol Annies] coming back?!”
And Miranda responded.
“We’ve got something up our sleeve,” promised Lambert.
Fans were thrilled at the news.
“SO EXCITED for Pistol Annie’s to come back😍😍,” wrote one enthusiastic Pistol Annies fan.
